2018 Udacity Google Africa Scholarship program for Africans APPLY NOW!

To apply for this scholarship, you need to be at least 18 years old and live in a country in Africa.

When applying, you will choose between learning web development or Android development. From there, once you’re accepted, we’ll place you in one of two tracks (beginner or intermediate), depending on your existing skills and experience.

After that, the learning begins! Some scholarship recipients may be able to participate in an Andela Learning Community with our partners from Andela. Finally, top students from each track will earn full scholarships to one of our Android or Web Development Nanodegree programs.

WEB DEVELOPER

BEGINNER TRACK

• No programming experience required
• 2-month access to Intro to HTML + CSS
• Design and build stunning and engaging websites!

INTERMEDIATE TRACK

• Some programming experience required
• 2-month access to Offline Web Applications
• Build next-generation and responsive web applications and grow as a developer.

ANDROID DEVELOPER

BEGINNER TRACK

• Begin to code from scratch
• 2-month access to Android Basics: User Interface
• Start building Android apps!

INTERMEDIATE TRACK

• Build interactive multi-screen Android Apps
• 2-month access to Developing Android Apps
• Get closer to becoming an Android developer!

HOW TO APPLY

The application is straightforward, and should take 10-15 minutes. There is a single application for all, whether you’re interested in Mobile or Web, and whether you’re a beginner or already have experience.

Answer what you can, to the best of your ability, and we’ll do the rest! Remember this application is open to residents of countries in Africa who are at least 18 years old.
