Ways that Prove You Can’t Tie A Man Down

A lot of women out there have been in and out of numerous relationships. They get frustrated and then result to applying some common but thoroughly uncanny methods they imagine would keep those men. Today’s post tackles ways you cannot tie a man down.

1. Getting Pregnant For Him; This is a very popular tactic used by desperate women especially when they’ve met a man who they imagine would be perfect for them. But it never works. I have seen men that leave the country just to avoid the responsibility that comes with having a child with a woman they’re not interested in. In the end, the woman is always the loser.

Why? Factor in the emotional trauma that would come with the general public opinion that having an issue outside of wedlock paints a woman as loose. Even if such a woman doesn’t care about all of that, she would be stressed by having to show she doesn’t care. It is better not to have something that would always remind you of him, than having his issue and he is not interested.

2. Monitoring/Controlling Him; I, personally, have experienced something like this and it doesn’t work. A man needs to feel like you trust him and even if you do, monitoring him only makes you appear more insecure than you might be. Insecurity is very unattractive.

There are instances of women who go as far as spying on their partners as well as keeping up with their schedules. A man is naturally built to be able to compartmentalize his life so even if he’s doing whatever you think he might be doing, you’ll never find out. His male friends would always lie for him, too. In the end, why stress? Take a cup of coffee and relax.

3. Doing Things You Normally Won’t Do; Be yourself! I always stress this. A relationship is not a game and someone who has decided to take this step with you should be ready for all the quirks that come with having you. Yes-there are times when compromise is necessary but you shouldn’t lose yourself in the process. At the end of the day, you should be happy with the person you are becoming rather than despise yourself.

4. Sleeping With Him; I always stress this point. It does not matter if you spin, split, dive, do everything an athlete does, while in bed with him. It doesn’t because a man that would not have you would not have you. S3x should be an added sweetness to your relationship rather than the rock it is built on. Because it’s not a solid rock and the moment he stops enjoying s3x with you, he’s out the door!

5. Meeting His Family; Guys know that women think that it’s better if they have met their families. Worse is that a guy that is just interested in whatever it is you have to offer is aware of this fact as well. Sometimes his family would even be the real MVP and call you names like Iyawo meanwhile they know his “real” girlfriend.
